William Hutson's Register.  A number of sources are given to indicate where other records are available for this interesting church.   The congregation included Congregationalists from Old and new England, French Huguenots, and Presbyterians from Scotland and Ireland.   Visitors to Charleston from many areas within and without the state of South Carolina who died while there are buried in the cemetery.  $10.00 + $2.00 P&H.

    South Carolina Quitrents, 1772 - 1773 - 1774 [softbound]:

South Carolina: A Guide to County Records [softbound]:

Each district and county, including those now extinct, in the state is listed.  The various forms in which the records may be extant (WPA, Film by LDS (Mormons), Film by Archives, Records still in the county) are indicated.  The introduction explains the development of the government and the differences between district/county and other types of district, such as enumeration districts and congressional districts.  Indexed.  This 390 page book is $40.00.  $3.00 P&H.

An Index to Richland County Probate Records 1785 - 1955 [softbound]:

The Probate Court handles affairs of deceased persons and many other matters, such as commitments to institutions, juvenile cases, and guardianships.  The 485 page volume is the key to Richland County families as they interacted with the probate court.  Many of these families had moved to Columbia, the capital of the state as well as the capital of Richland County, which became the center of the government and many other businesses and institutions.  $45.00 + $3.00 P&H.
